Frown Line and Forehead Line Reduction

How can you treat my Frown Lines and Forehead Lines?

Wrinkle Relaxing injections (Botox)

Dr Teri Johnson uses wrinkle-relaxing injections known by many people as “Botox” to treat most people’s frown and forehead lines in her Cheshire Clinic.

This treatment is prescription-only but has a low risk of side effects. You can see the results about two weeks after treatment. The lines continue to improve over time.  Most of her clients have a treatment every six months to maintain the results.

The treatment works by reducing the movement in the frown muscles so the lines created by movement can no longer be made.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers can also be used to reduce the lines using a variety of different products and techniques.

These treatments do not reduce the movement so only reduce the appearance of the lines at rest. They also have an increased risk of bruising so are usually a second-line treatment when botox is not suitable for some reason.

Sometimes a combination of treatments may be required for the best results.
